Zoe Dunlop Doyle is an acupuncturist in Wexford

About

Hi, my name is Zoe and I am a licensed acupuncturist from Wexford. For 7 years I taught ESOL

(English as a second language) in Spain and Ireland. Although I enjoyed the connection I made with my students I had become increasingly more interested in alternative/complementary healthcare.  In 2018 I started my diploma in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Lansdowne College. I chose to study acupuncture and TCM as it is a holistic medicine that takes into account all aspects of a person; physical health, constitution, diet, lifestyle, traumas, feelings, thoughts and medical history. I’ve personally found acupuncture to be helpful in my own physical and mental health issues.

Since then I trained in Tuina massage which is a part of Chinese Medicine. I really enjoy

combining acupuncture and Tuina together. They complement each other in the

treatment of physical pain and promote relaxation.

 Approaching the body differently

Our bodies express symptoms when there is imbalance in the body, it is a message to be listened to, letting us know that something needs to be addressed. The severity and chronicity of the symptom lets us know how a big or small the imbalance is. Through the practice and theory behind acupuncture we can understand why these symptoms are present and use specific points to help the body heal and regain resiliency. I recognize that an individual is unique and complex therefore treatment should be individualized for the person’s needs. My goal is to help my clients feel healthier and more vibrant in their body and feel more peace in their mind.
